City blocks public from talks on RenSquare site

What do you think about this? Should the public and media have been allowed in? We'd love to hear from you.

I don't know if the public should have been let in; it depends on the purpose of the meeting. I *am* concerned, though, that the Landmark Society was excluded and the invited "guests" were mostly developers; that tells me that the only plan(s) being considered start with razing the existing buildings without even cursory evaluation for adaptation and reuse. It seems that it's taken for granted that more of Old Rochester should be lost, and that disturbs me a great deal.
